In spite of significant medical advancements over the past 50 years, patients with back pain and neck pain continued to suffer. Dr. Khan, founder of KKT®, recognized the need for a solution and established the KKT Initiative. The objective of the initiative was to develop a treatment modality that could effectively treat neck and back pain.Dr. Khan approached some of the brightest minds in research and development with his concept for a better treatment modality. Their goal was to develop a treatment for back and neck pain that addressed the cause of spinal problems without inflicting any pain or discomfort during the treatment. It was to be quick and effective and have little or no adverse effects. Finally, its efficacy had to be proven by rigorous scientific and clinical studies, so as to be accepted by doctors worldwide. With the financial assistance of the National Research Council of Canada, Industrial Research Assistance Program, a team of researchers began by studying the effect of Quantum Acoustic Waves™ on the biosynthesis of components essential for disc health. Treatment conditions were studied in order to maximize the efficacy of treatment. Prototypes were designed to deliver the treatment, and more careful study ensued, including clinical studies of patients suffering from neck and back pain. The results were extremely positive. For the first time in decades, the scientific world had forged a new path in back pain treatment. The KKT® technology delivers precisely defined, small amplitude, Quantum Acoustic Waves™ to the tissues of the back and neck. Patients experience no pain and no adverse side effects. Patients report a significant decrease in pain and as well as a decrease in pain medication consumption.
